Data Collection
We practice strict data minimalism—collecting only what is absolutely necessary. Currently, when you contact us, we securely store your Name, Email, Phone Number, and message history. In the future, for 12A/80G tax-exempt donations, we will be required by Indian law to collect PAN card details and billing addresses.
Data Usage
Your personal data is never sold, rented, or traded. We use your contact information exclusively to respond to your inquiries, facilitate community partnerships, and eventually, to issue legal tax receipts for your financial contributions.
Security & Infrastructure
We employ enterprise-grade digital security. All form submissions are routed directly into a heavily encrypted PostgreSQL database (Supabase), protected by strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Your sensitive data does not sit in unprotected spreadsheets or local hard drives.
Third-Party Partners
We share data only with essential infrastructure partners that comply with global security standards. This includes Vercel for routing and hosting, and upon the launch of our donation portal, Razorpay for bank-grade payment processing.
Analytics & Tracking Technologies
To better understand how visitors interact with our website and to improve our digital outreach, we use third-party analytics services. These services use "cookies" and similar tracking technologies only if you grant explicit consent.
1. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and user engagement. Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and visitor behavior in an anonymous form. The data collected (including your device type, browser type, and pages visited) is transmitted to Google. We do not use this data to personally identify individual visitors, and it is used strictly to optimize our NGO's digital impact.

2. Microsoft Clarity
We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replays. This helps us understand what content is most effective so we can improve our user experience. We ensure that strict privacy settings are enabled: all sensitive keystrokes and personal data entered into our contact forms are automatically masked and never recorded or sent to Microsoft.

Your Control Over Cookies (Opt-In / Opt-Out)
When you first visit our website, you are presented with a cookie consent banner allowing you to control your privacy settings:
- Accept All: Permits the use of the analytics tracking described above.
- Necessary Only: Blocks all third-party analytics scripts. No tracking data is sent to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. You can clear your browser cookies at any time to reset your preferences.
Your Digital Rights
You retain absolute ownership of your digital footprint. If you wish to have your contact history or personal details completely erased from our servers, simply email us at office@vasundharasanstha.co.in. Your records will be permanently expunged within 48 hours.
